ICWWA is having a mission of empowering women. It is having various activities all year around. It is having a special tutions for the poor and needy children who are mainly slum dwellers. It is also taking up other activities like making of bags out of newspapers and old clothes, felicitating the civic officials, Raksha Bandhan with Police Officers, celebrating Childrens Day, celebrating Women’s Day and many more such activities. All of its teachers are working purely on Pro Bono basis with a commitment to the upliftment of the community.
Today ICWWA organized a workshop for the parents of its students at the Community Centre on the subject of Environment as an ongoing programme of Svachhata Abhiyan. Mr Shrikant Soman, Co-Ordinator AGNI R North conducted the workshop. Audio Visuals were also presented. The parents were impressed upon the importance of keeping the cleanliness not only inside of their homes but also in their area overall.
Nearly 30 parents and 50 students attended the workshop. The teachers of the community centre who take special tutions also attended the workshop.
